My nightfall walk around downtown Syracuse brought a brand new sight across Warren Street from Hanover Square. I like the idea of the horizontal lighting above the sidewalk. I’m not sure if it’s just for the holiday season or something that will stay up longer. I root for something more permanent.

My recent work trip to downtown Syracuse allowed me to appreciate the fun folks get from the Clinton Square skating rink. The sleds they use to teach the newbies seem to build confidence. Great invention, that.
