My dear wife Karen has been taking her latest traveling central sterile technician gig over to the east, at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady.
It’s a two-hour drive to the east down the New York State Thruway.
Not too bad for cherished rescue mutt Ellie B and I.

The house in which my dear wife found a top-floor apartment for her weekday stays is pretty cool looking.
This Ellie B decided after a careful investigation of the grounds, of course.
It’s so hard to remember how to spell it though! I live an hour north. 🙂

It is a tough spell for sure, Adrienne, even when you live two hours to the west.

Back in the 70s I lived in Schenectady for a bit and took in the history there. Walk around The Stockade and you will love the homes and churches. Also, visit the Vale Cemetery, a resting place for many famous. And you gotta try Morrette’s steak sandwich.

Love the photos.
May I come spend a year in that House??
I’ll do the yard work–No Problem.

You’d have to strike a deal with the owner, Lance. It’s a cool looking place, yes.
