Love-hate relationship

Cherished rescue mutt Ellie B aka Dogamous Pyle’s stockpile of toys expanded over the holidays. She had gift bags to open, yes. So when I spy a lone toy she’s doing a morning thing, I wonder if it was taken on the journey because it’s a favorite or because it’s being given a time out.

I promise to you that I was standing straight up and down when I pulled out my iPhone 8 to take this image. I saw the evergreen leaning to the left and wondered if it was a constant breeze off of Onondaga Lake that made it grow this way.
