The New York State Fair folks moved the sand sculpture back to the Center of Progress for 2019 after a year at the Exposition Center.
It looked good back in the center of its old home.
Get the monkeys, my dear wife Karen urged.
Walking the aisles, I noticed the sculpture had different themes on two other sides. I really appreciated the space celebration signaling a half-century since 1969’s moon landing.
Over in the Dairy Building, we admired the Butter Sculpture as it rotated in its refrigerated case.
Wow! Fabulous!

Watching (time lapse :)) videos of how they’re made can be entertaining, too! Do they have those next to the exhibits?

fascinating! I once saw an indie film named ‘butter’ about just this. not a great film, but interesting premise.

They do this every year, Beth. Apparently in different places, enough for a film!
