Entering into the walk zone during a cold break from my library job, I keep telling myself that we are halfway through winter and rounding the corner to spring. Right?!
So when I explain to folks here in Bloggyville about where exactly Liverpool is, I always come up with the phrase “just outside of Syracuse.” During a recent safe walk in the Village, this sight struck me. Exactly two miles outside, from this busy corner.

On a safe walk around our neighborhood blocks, cherished rescue mutt Ellie B aka Dogamous Pyle and I came upon our first Christmas reindeer of the season. The house dogs made sure we kept our distance by sounding their guard barks through the big window.
