Bike riders are coming!
My pre-work stroll at Onondaga Lake Park encounters some sort of bicycling event. A slew of riders were escorted by cherry-lighted Sheriff vehicles at front and back. My iPhone camera adrenaline pumped! Here they come!

My recent pre-work stroll at Onondaga Lake Park revealed a lot more lights ready for placement as October marches toward the Nov. 15 opening date for Lights on the Lake 2022. I just looked. No walking dates to start if off this year, again. There goes my official photo opportunities. I’ll have to plan another…
A pre-work stroll around Onondaga Lake Park hit a tree of orange leaves. I sent out looking for it, and I found it. October is here, for sure.
I noticed on an early morning stroll that way down yonder more leaves are starting to go to color.
The birds out on a line in Onondaga Lake seem to have the right idea to me.
On this first day of fall, I offer the recent capture at the Onondaga Lake Marina. Boats are still docked. Leaves on the tree are still green and quite up there. Lights on the Lake decorations are piled and ready for installation.
On a smooth day, I can really stare and see the highs and lows of Onondaga Lake as the lone gull appears to be walking on the water.
The busy marina interests me looking toward shore, too. I’m glad the land bends toward other angles.
Just to point out that not all the leaves are turning in Onondaga Lake Park, I offer this sprawling scene.
Seen on a stroll through Onondaga Lake Park: leaves changing color. Not mild yellow or mild red, I’d say, but quickly brown. It has been so very, very dry. It’s that point of August in my part of the world.
