It’s the time of the season when the front yard garden fills up and widens out. I stop and admire it to and from my car on work days at the library. Nice!
Every time I look, something else has come up in the front yard square to make it look even better.
The daffodils have decided it’s been warm enough to come out in front of our house.
Every week that goes by, the front yard patch shows more signs of growth. Now that it really is spring, you betcha I’m expecting bigger things.
The Rose of Sharon seem to be keeping to themselves this year.
Suddenly I appreciated the lie of the purple pointing out the glory of the red roses out front. Thanks for the direction.
Noticed Saturday by my dear wife Karen, the first bloom on the big front yard bush that’s usually late to yield flowers. More buds to follow.
Next up in our summer rotation: The front yard daisies. We do not have any goats roaming the neighborhood. Or foraging deer, that I’ve seen. Still, the title of that really old TV show somehow popped into my mind.
At last, our yellow yard spring has a new addition. Yellow, color purple!
