During my pre-work stroll at Onondaga Lake Park, I definitely steered clear of the geese. They can get domineering.
I got up early enough to get to the Village of Liverpool for a pre-work walk the other day. Right off the bat, I spotted a confident bunny. The rabbit practically dared me to take its photo. Happy day, indeed.
My dear wife Karen told me I could go out to the back end of our yard and take a photo of the “common lilies.” Yes, they may be what we see most on the roadways of Central New York, but I like them just fine.
We are always happy when the front yard daisies make their summer appearance.
On a pre-work stroll around Onondaga Lake Park, I noticed this big boat in the Marina parking lot. What is ATL, I wondered. The accompanying truck gave me answers. They apparently are finding the invasive species noted on the contraption I showed you in yesterday’s post. Work hard, ATL staffers.
Those fishing in Onondaga Lake must watch what they pull in, I discovered during my recent pre-work stroll. I hope they clear the lake of what’s not good for it.
Mid-season check on the backyard azalea my dear wife Karen and I dug into our ground this spring found a hardy growth. So far, so good.
I can’t remember how many years ago George Three included this Tiger Lilly as one of my dear wife Karen’s presents for Mother’s Day. Up it comes again. I love these annual deliveries.
