Big and beautiful throwback

Bountiful choices. Sauders opened my eyes wide. The big building on a back road in the Finger Lakes town of Seneca Falls offered so much produce, meat, bread, candy and, well, good-eatin’. Pies in my eyes. We grabbed a cart and took our time. We made sure to stroll every aisle. If you want to…

Hidden in the Finger Lakes

All true. My dear wife Karen thought I’d appreciate a little drive with her to the west. She’d visited Sauders after a crafts day visit to Aurora with a car load of her girlfriends. So off on a sunny morning we went to Seneca Falls. It will be like a cross between Ontario Orchards and…

Pop of purple

Basket case

Take a stand. My dear wife Karen continues to find great accessories for our flowers. The hanging basket she received from Elisabeth and George months back still flourishes on the stand.

Garden expansion

Perfect corner. When lifelong friend Greg came to visit earlier this summer, he graciously gifted us with a rose plant. My dear wife Karen found the perfect corner for it in our backyard garden. Thank you, Greg.

More privacy
