Paradise no longer.
Along with the new spots I noticed on a cold weather stroll around our mega mall Destiny USA, the top level pass also reminded me that longtime restaurant Margaritaville is no longer in business.
Once in a while, my dear wife Karen and I would stop in for a cheeseburger, cold beverage and that beautiful Jimmy Buffet vibe.
Now we miss the man and his join in our hometown.

aww, that seems like a fun place to escape for a mini vacation for a few hours.

I wonder if any of their other locations are closing – and it sounds like you and your wife used to have a great spot for “cheeseburger in paradise”

It is always frustrating when a favored place goes away, Mark. We’ve had our fair share, but we do wind up exploring new places that sometimes wind up being “regulars.”

That’s sad, Mark. Truly a void in fun and good food! My youngest son and DIL’s family love to go into Tulsa just to eat there!

Yes, that fad soon faded and many closed as like many flashing trends. our local one did bite the dust as well. But as I traveled and covered the entire US and Canada Iâd find some of these fad chains holding g in like in los Vegas for example.
