Adding our autographs to the really big baseball

Pre-game signings.

Our local Triple-A baseball team does a good job with promotions to help stir interest.

Thursday night, the family was eager to get to the Syracuse Mets game early enough so that my dear wife Karen, terrific daughter Elisabeth, George Three and I could add our names to the really big baseball.

The premise: The ball is visiting stadiums around the country with a goal of collecting enough signatures to earn a world record.

Sign us up!

Elisabeth finds a spot.

The ball was already crammed in the sections workers allowed us to place our names.

Success for Karen.

We all were told that we had to find white space to fill the inside of the blue square before signing.

There I go.

It was not an easy task.

George is ready.

The opportunity brought us together.

Record holders.

All done, we were ready to enter the record book.
