Hello down there

Please bounce back. In past winters, I’ve been able to bring you photos of rogue blooms from our front corner rose bush. This year, my dear wife Karen and I discuss whether or not it will bounce back from all this snow that had to go there. Insulation or oxygen stealer? Only spring and summer…

No blooms this winter

This year’s rose pose. In the past several winters, I’ve snuck in a photo or two of a roque rose bloom from our yard. This winter shows a quite different stature. Get your sleep. Steady snow cover and cold through January and February has left our roses in a deep slumber.

Ready already

Quick reaction. The shorty backyard rose bush wants it to be its season already. I personally think March still holds some cold stuff in its arsenal.
