The big front-yard rose bush is greening bit-by-bit, inch-by-inch. My patience is … going to be rewarded, I hope, I hope.
I know, it’s like watching the pot on the stove. Greener, bushier. Still no buds.
The green stems on our lovely corner rose bush up front have added growth. Leaves have arrived as we welcome May. Soon, I hope, red blooms.
They’re not near the flower stage yet, but I am heartened by the greening state of our rose bush branches as mid-April nears. The big specimen up from looks great as it starts year two of its life in our yard.
