Maybe next time

There for the takers. Don’t let the sunlight fool you. It was plenty cool for the snow to remain on these Onondaga Lake Park benches. No swipes of a glove or a mitten to take a breather …

Lighten up

I see you, clown. No tears or fears when I conjured up a clown face inside the array of this light display along the trail path at Onondaga Lake Park. What do you get from this Lights on the Lake cluster?

Drift away

Give me the beat, boys. How close are these fallen branches to becoming driftwood, I wonder during my November Onondaga Lake Park stroll. Sure, the Dobie Gray classic goes through my brain.

One little bird

Don’t worry, ‘bout a thing. Peaceful I feel with lifelong favorite songs running through my head, appreciating crisp weather and blue skies and Onondaga Lake Park. Thank you, Bob Marley, for allowing me to alter this one.

Bench and birds

Birding. The birds are exploring their peaceful water time, I discover at this Onondaga Lake Park bench spot. They have the water to themselves.

That November feel

Chilly. This is what my part of our world is like in November, I realize again in 2024. Yes, I appreciate this trio of leaf-less trees against the cloudless blue sky.

No fear

Snack time. Yes, this squirrel is unabashedly dining as I near on the walking path during my Onondaga Lake Park stroll. Thank you for posing! You’re hired, too. And, coincidentally, another furry model allowed me a photo opportunity as I made my way back to my car parked outside the library on Tulip Street.

Don’t even think it

It’s a no-go. Cars are not allowed to enter Onondaga Lake Park from the Village of Liverpool’s Brow Street. This the big blocks placed in the road makes abundantly clear. Told you. Yes, car drivers are given ample warning above.
