My safe walk done, I turn back toward the rest of the day. I parked my car in the library’s underground garage, where a solid day of satisfying work awaits. First will come a stroll through two blocks of the Village of Liverpool. I’ll breathe all of it in.
A work break walk catches sight of a full berth of boats at the Onondaga Park Marina. I surely hope this is a great summer for all who climb aboard.
Just when I thought I was the only one at Onondaga Lake Park before my work shift at the library, I noticed an early morning walker with their dog way down yonder. Good morning, indeed.
Nobody sits around at Onondaga Lake Park on a nice early April day before 8 a.m. On this particular day, anyway.
I left for my shift at the library early last week so I could take a walk down by the lake. That allowed me to find the sun still playing its hello-Spring-day games with the trees. Good way to get ready for work, I thought.
It’s getting nice enough that somebody will want to get fishing just outside the appointed restrictions, soon enough.
The mounds grew high looking back and up at the Village of Liverpool.
Certain trees look different every time I safe walk past them in Onondaga Lake Park.
During a February work break safe walk I saw one other soul out during a cold not-yet-noon time slot. And a dog. Look down the path …
