Fancy colors

Better off red. As we get ready to welcome a new month, our front yard dogwood is going from green to red. Fall will do that to our favorite foliage.

Dogwood, dearly

Take your time. This spring, our beloved front-yard dogwood tree decided to come out in bits and pieces. Some years it has bloomed all at once. It has its own mind, obviously.

Hello to your new year, front dogwood

Our front yard dogwood has started its short flowering hello. The buds have given away to the first delicate white petals. A bit of exposure will allow a bit of deepening to the color. Then a big wind will send them all to the lawn. My dear wife Karen and I will appreciate all stages.

Dogwood time!

My yearly cheer for our front-yard dogwood blooms has arrived. Can you hear the happiness? Like the time span of these flowers, my voice of approval is also short and sweet.
