Line them up

Good planting. Back when whoever put the holes in the ground to plant these lovelies outside this Village of Liverpool corner business/residence building, some good thinking was done. The spring result on the back side of the bricks is quite nice indeed.

Color before the lake

Pretty in pink. A keen eye discovers a shocking pink tree ready to shout in the Village of even before you get to the entrance to the lake park.

Comfort on the village corner

First up. A visit to the Village of Liverpool corner for a late April stroll allows the realization that the tree smack dab in the middle of Tulip and First was always ready to make me smile at this time of year while I worked half-a-block up at the library.

Lavender corner

Our front corner. It’s time for the front right corner of our yard to include a special spring color. It might be my dear wife Karen’s favorite, I might add. Hello, lavender!

The whites and the pinks

A walk around the Village of Liverpool on a gray morning this week allowed me a great glimpse of the back side of The Retreat. How lovely their trees are at the start of May.
