Turn of my path. On a recent stroll through the Village of Liverpool on yet another beautiful March morning, I decided to take a different entrance than usual into Onondaga Lake Park. That stop sign could use a red-paint touch-up, thought I.

Thank you, grandpa. When terrific daughter Elisabeth and fantastic fiance George take a well-deserved winter vacation, I gladly volunteer for cat duty. They have an automated feeder, so that pretty much relegates me to going over a couple times a day to make sure her water dishes are full and empty the litter box. But…

Emerging. My dear wife Karen says it’s early for our tulip bulbs to say hello in our backyard. I certainly believe her.

Quick reaction. The shorty backyard rose bush wants it to be its season already. I personally think March still holds some cold stuff in its arsenal.
