Peony tree time
Taking its turn. It’s peony time in our backyard. And the corner tucked next to rose row is bursting with that lovely shade of red. Pretty in the rain, too. My dear wife Karen and I appreciate each species for its individualism.

Tater goes green. Enough weeks had past since my trip south to visit KP and Sue in Georgia and the two rounds of golf I enjoyed with my longtime friend. I wanted to make do on my pledge to make this my year to concentrate more on the game. My text to Tater was returned…
Snapshot. I switched up my neighborhood walking route recently, with multiple motivations as we move through spring. I’m adding distance so I’m ready for our annual trip to the Cape, where my dear wife Karen love to walk to and from so many places. Different routes stir my brain in alternate directions. And I’m always…

Pretty in pink. A keen eye discovers a shocking pink tree ready to shout in the Village of even before you get to the entrance to the lake park.
First up. A visit to the Village of Liverpool corner for a late April stroll allows the realization that the tree smack dab in the middle of Tulip and First was always ready to make me smile at this time of year while I worked half-a-block up at the library.
Spring smile. Nice enough for a neighborhood walk and … I spy pink cherry blossoms out after I returned from my Georgia trip.

So meetings were set and negotiations settled. Spiffy, says Dad. A gorgeous new Nissan Rogue sits in the driveway in front of Elisabeth and George Three’s…
Pretty in pink. My dear wife Karen and I have noted how our lone rhododendron plant out back has flourished in spring 2024 like no other season so far. It must have liked the warm winter.
