Flocking with the pumpkins. It’s fun to note what’s new in the seasonal decorations on my dear wife Karen and I’s seasonal trek to Ontario Orchards. Collected out front this time was a bunch of carefully crafted birds perched on stumps of various heights. Bright red, we did believe they are cardinals. Nice work!

Comfort store. My dear wife Karen and I didn’t expect to find a booming nursery when we pulled up for our annual seasonal excursion a handful of dozen miles to the north to the Ontario Orchards Farm Market. The store, thankfully, still stood sturdy and proud for all it offered, outside and in.

Grew a lot. This mature plant would look great in the backyard or front, my dear wife Karen and I agreed as we strolled and dreamed at the Ontario Orchards nursery. But, deep down we knew, no way we had a vehicle that could fit it for the ride home.
