Mound meeting
Thank you, sir. Our original seats were close for the Syracuse Mets home opener, but I couldn’t quite eavesdrop on the mound discussion during the first pitching change. Dinner plans, maybe?

At the plate. Yes, I had to walk down from the Metropolitan Room to check out where our original seats were for the Syracuse Mets home opener. We did good on the first day they went on sale. I had fun taking some photos as the home team battle Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. My dear wife Karen, terrific…
And Trapper hats, too. What the heck, thought I, when I saw the temperature forecast for our Syracuse Mets home opener. Yes, we’d secured our four seats up close to the field the first day they went on sale. Then … The team put up a special in the Metropolitan Room that included a buffet…
Worth the effort. The puzzle provided by terrific daughter Elisabeth provided dear wife Karen many happy moments of making these past few months. You OK up there, I’d aim up the stairs as she worked at her arts/crafts table. Complicated, yes. Beautiful, definitely.
Pasta and more. Where do you want to go to celebrate this year’s birthday, I texted to George Three. He deliberated. Pondered. Thought it over. Figured he wanted to try someplace he’d never been. Francesco’s Cucina, he decided. My dear wife Karen, terrific daughter Elisabeth and I had appreciated the Italian place on Syracuse’s north…
High aspirations. The backyard garden is ready for a big month. So too are my dear wife Karen and I. April is good to our gardens.
Big sky at morning. It’s fun to wonder what’s in store weather-wise the rest of the day as I look down our street toward our lake view early in the morning at the end of March. I appreciate the mix of gray and blue.’
Eye opening earlier and earlier. I’ve stopped complaining about adjusting to the time change. Appreciating the sun coming up over our backyard in early spring has helped, yes.
From Chuck Hafner’s to our house. I liked the little guy my dear wife Karen decided to purchase during our welcome-spring trip to the big local nursery center. I also appreciate where she decided the new arrival will hang out.
Cool beans. I did think for a moment, but no. We can’t start our own plantation in Central New York. Fear not, Dunkin’. My dear wife Karen and I will still be steady buyers.
