Room to breathe. Now that the front yard rose bush is unburied by the big melt, my dear wife Karen and I are hoping for a bounce back. I have more optimism than she does.

Driveway pile going … Yes, that little snowball is the remnants of the mountain of snow that flanked our driveway before this short but cherished stretch of 50s and even 60s. Thank you, weather gods. We needed the break for sure.

Here’s to Opening Day. The Syracuse Mets held their annual open house event his weekend. Melt, snow. Yes, it was time for me to drive the mile-or-so from our house to NBT Bank Stadium and think Triple-A baseball. More to come in the next few days.
