Great sun
All clear. The path for my autumn stroll at Onondaga Lake Park is quite inviting.

Bingo! There, up ahead, I spotted a tree at peak fall colors. Maybe even a little past. I enjoy the discovery of autumn changes in my part of the world.
Good sign. The Onondaga Lake Marina is ready for visitors to take a seat and grab a bite. Me, I was strolling my favorite local park.
Gathering … It wouldn’t be an autumn stroll at Onondaga Lake Park without the gathering of displays for this year’s Lights on the Lake display. Easy to spread out. Soon enough, I know, they will be carefully placed in their rightful locations along the path. And then, it will be closer to Thanksgiving, the event…
Not gone yet. An autumn stroll that reached the Onondaga Lake Marina found the boats still ready for action. Indeed. Some names of course caught me eye, too. It would not take me long to start calling that Godfrey beauty Arthur.

Calling my name? Soon, I think, every time I go out to our backyard with my dear wife Karen and/or our cherished rescue mutt. Comfy seasonal stuff will have to be moved into our shed before the snow flies. Sigh.
Thank you. I’m glad I can still walk out from the side door and appreciate our backyard rose plants. Hello, October blooms.
Better, yes. When Elisabeth and George had their driveway sealed a bit ago, I knew I had to make the call. Ours needed the facelift, too. They did a good job smoothing the old spot out the best they could. Of course, the worker did say that the only way to make our convenient parking…
Leaves, out. The pool cover keeps stuff out from September to late May. I do like watching our cherished rescue mutt carefully walk around it as she does her backyard business.
