Proud and tall.
Before we left for this year’s Cape Cod getaway, I dashed around the backyard and front-yard gardens to catch the blooms.
One whispery, tall powder puff stood tall way out back.

And in Sandwich, Mass.
While we were walking the grounds of the Heritage Museum and Gardens in Sandwich, Mass., I spied the same species.
And my dear wife Karen and I recalled our visit years back and the recognition of that plant’s individuality is what led us to find it and put it on our ground back home in Central New York.

ooh, allium! I planted some in my garden at the end of last year, because I love how they look and they did not disappoint this year –
