Savoring a well-planned neighborhood

Different styles.

Folks that want to live in Lilith have a variety of styles of homes from which to choose.

More are going up all the time.

The planned community impressed the heck out of me on my trip from Central New York to appreciate near-Atlanta with KP and Sue.

Going up, up, up, more film studio complex.

Lilith comes from the mind of the man who brings us the Chick-Fil-A chain, explained KP as we walked the grid streets of the community and took a trolley tour if the adjoining film studios.

Fountain circle.

The Marvel Universe produces its films at the studios. Many TV shows, including “Family Feud,” are captured there. You can look up that they are made in Georgia.

I’d tell you more about what the tour guides told me, but they take their privacy seriously. It is public knowledge that U.S. Soccer is bringing its training complex to an adjoining lot; the big green sign on the main road proudly tells all as we near a World Cup year.

I’ll concentrate more on what I noticed walking with KP and Sue.

For sale in the community mailroom.

You can walk an hour for exercise if you choose, or lesser chunks to appreciate the sites.

Community pool, open to Lilith residents.

I thought that those living here always have something to do, outside and in.

The Barleycorn for lunch.

We had lunch at a neat burger/barbecue place, where I wolfed down the TJ Burger with sweet potato fries and dinner at cool Italian spot Amici, where I chose an Italian sausage calzone. Loved both. I must add that Sue’s home cooking all visit outpaced both! I mean, when she added bacon to her light and creamy pasta primavera because an unshy visitor happened to mention the B-word …

Art in the park.

Upon my return home, I know these two are appreciating this community’s breadth and depth.

  1. Mark,

Unless I’m wrong sounds like your smitten with the Lilith complex and possibly a candidate to consider moving there?
Maybe this trip to check it out?
