Today’s the day to celebrate all things Irish. And green.
They got together for the annual St. Patrick’s Parade in downtown Syracuse last Saturday.
My dear wife Karen and I did not attend this year.
Too cold.
Our local ABC affiliate, WSYR-9, broadcast three hours of the parade, as per custom. They started at noon with a weather shot from outside their East Syracuse studio.
The hardy folks marching up and lined along South Salina Street looked … cold. Very.
At least they appeared dressed for success in battling the 15ºF real temperature and zero wind-chill.
I felt right at home watching on the living room flat screen.
it looks like it was a great parade, and i totally understand )

I would have done the same. I am not a cold weather person.

You were there in spirit …with spirits?
That’s certainly a cold one, for sure.
