A great cruise on the Freedom of the Seas for my dear wife Karen and I

There were plenty of reasons to smile during our seven-night cruise on the Freedom of the Seas.

My dear wife Karen had her great moments.

Being with the gang in the Arcadia Theater made her happy.

I had my fine moments.

After drinks at the high point on St. Thomas, I returned to the big time at the ship.

A long stay after riding to the top of St. Thomas made me happy.

Today is Karen’s birthday. Happy Birthday, my dear wife.

  1. I have enjoyed your blog soooo much and the pictures are wonderful. I feel like I am back on the ship as I read and look at the pictures! I love your concept of smiles. I have always said you see so many people smiling and happy when you are on a cruise. They are friendly and even speak! Happiest of birthdays to our cruise buddy Karen!

    • Thanks so much for getting me and the blog smiles, our dear friend JoAnn. We love our time with you, Brenda and the rest of the cruise buddies. Yes, you are right about the great attitudes on the ship. ❤

    • And look at the shirt I’m wearing in the one shot, Mr. McKeever, a present from my great friend Jim that made it to the top of St. Thomas. Thank you again for being so thoughtful with your CitiField goodie. 🙂

  2. I love the last photo. They were all terrific, you have done a good job promoting the world of cruising. I admit I never ventured on a cruise ship feeling it might be too organised and limiting for us as we prefer to pick up and go while on holiday.
