What’s cooking in our part of the world.
My recent walk at Onondaga Lake Park noted a new sign marking an important part of our area’s history put up outside the Salt Museum.
Cheers to the salt potato.
Long may we boil and butter!

LOVE salt potatoes! They used to be the only kind we bought. Imagine our disappointment when I joined the army and we found you couldn’t get them in other states. I felt so clever the day I bought some small potatoes and made my own.

Your ingenuity boiled over when you made your own, Cynthia! Way to go.

I love potatoes of any variety, and fortunately Mrs. Chess shares that passion for them, Mark.

I could eat potatoes three times a day. Unfortunately I married a rice man. A nice rice man who will peel potatoes for me. 🙂
