This text get an extra half hour from my dear wife

September 7, 2018 6:30 am

My dear wife Karen was working the later Friday shift, meaning she’s get home from the eye place after my arrival at A Bitty Better from the library.

What’s that, I see on my phone after I feed Elle B aka Dogamous Pyle?

A text saying that my wife is running late.

I set up a weekend starter welcome.

Come home quick.

I text the photo of what will be ready on the kitchen table to start the Friday relaxation.

(The beer bottles go back in the fridge, thank you.)

Bing. A reply.

She’s leaving sooner rather than later.

Happy Hour.

It worked. I time my pour perfectly.

    1. We drive a bit to get it here in Central New York, Tom. Our Syracuse-area Wegmans only stocks one of their brews. We like the ones that Geneva and Canandaigua carry.
