Kids and coins at the library

February 12, 2017 6:30 am

Two kids wishing us well.

Two kids wishing us well.

Walking out to grab lunch last week at the Liverpool Public Library I came upon cute kids in the lobby.

They were interested in our spiral wishing well.

Folks of all ages regularly drop coins into its yaw and watch them spin down. It’s a great way to make a donation.

Where did it go?

Where did it go?

One of them really, really wanted to know where his coin went.

I’m glad I pulled my iPhone 6 out of my pocket before heading out to grab my Chinese takeout.

Do you drop coins in a wishing well, and if so, where? What’s your biggest wish these days? What’s your biggest curiosity to peer into these days?

  1. That is one cute wishing well, Mark! My biggest wish these days is that I’ll get fish for dinner everyday.
