Walking to and from the first Syracuse University home college football game, I noticed a big building project.
It’s very close to Crouse Hospital, so my dear wife Karen said she’d noticed it in the months she worked there during this past winter.
Me, I’d seen not a sign of it last football season.
Yet already it’s becoming a significant sight.
Right behind the important stretch of Marshall Street, this new building stretches wide and stands tall.
Suddenly it hit me. As coach Dino Babers builds this third season under his leadership, going into today’s big game in the dome against Florida State, perhaps this new building going up stands as a metaphor for our Syracuse Orange.
