February is a nice month to catch a college men’s lacrosse game in the Carrier Dome.
As long as you don’t mind a bit of brisk as you walk up the Syracuse University campus hill toward the big stadium.
My dear wife Karen and I had found a nice parking spot on Marshall Street, 45 minutes until game time of noon on Sunday, the day when no the city parking meters call for no cash or credit cards.
I appreciated the moment of capturing the stately university buildings in the snowy setting.

Thanks Mark! I’m going off the grid with my hiking tribe down on the Buffalo River in AR. We got a cabin. I’m dethawing my car now and praying ice melts fast. No internet and beautiful places. I’m in!

I haven’t visited my alma mater for years and I mean years. But when I did revisit I always had a feeling of awe as I walked through the campus past the beautiful old buildings.
Something I didn’t feel during the struggling years there. lol
