So this is a night game tailgate in late November

Hardy fans.

My dear wife Karen and I sat in my car in the full dark shortly after 5 p.m. Saturday and watched the tailgate activity around us in our designated Syracuse University football parking lot.

We agreed this was the first 7:30 p.m. game start for the final contest of the regular season we’d experienced during our dozen or so years as season ticket holders.

Tents ready.

After we ate the sandwiches we’d brought from the Brooklyn Pickle and washed them down with a beverage, I walked a bit for a short, cold, photo session.

Tailgating was on for some.

The birds were not up on the neighboring building.

What a difference from shorts-and-sunning in September!

  1. I read someplace/somewhere about fried pickles. I don’t think it was on your blog.
I can’t think of any other comment to make except: “What was the beverage you used to wash down your sandwich from the Brooklyn Pickle?”
