A recent trip to Willow Bay revealed this stately tree.
The fruit caught my attention.
Too big to be a cherries or crabappples for sure.
When I air-dropped a photo for my dear wife Karen to try her app, it suggested an American Cherry. We don’t think so.
Pretty trees my bro! I wish I could crack the mystery. But I’m stumped too. 🤷🏽♀️

We have that exact same tree in our backyard, Mark. Let me know if you find out what it is. I always just thought it was a crabapple, but the fruit is a little too small. However, it’s hard fruit, like an apple and not like a cherry. Whatever it is, the squirrels and bunnies sure do like it.

What exactly is a ‘crab-apple?”
Don’t think we have these in Texas.
