Our safe backyard barbecue visit to our great friend and neighbor Georgia’s house was made even more special because we got to hang around with Lexi, too.
The beautiful black lab is just about the same age as our cherished rescue mutt Ellie B.
Lexi likes to receive my head rubs, and, yeah, a little piece of chicken from my plate.
Yes, so familiar for me.
As we were saying our so-longs, Lexi showed off her considerable modeling skills from the deck.
Hello Lexi !!!

Awwwww, thanks MBM 🙂 I have discovered through all of this I need ‘more’ friends. I am glad Lexi would be one.

Lexi is adorable! Our puppy thinks she is the alpha of the world weighing in at 4 lbs. I’m not sure if hers is a fearful bark or a “let’s rumble,” bark. But bark she feels she must whenever we encounter other dogs and sometimes people.

The tail is telling, Sandra. If it’s wagging, the bark is hello. My interpretation of dogspeak, anyway!

I like your thinking, Mark. Makes sense to me! I’ll have to keep an eye on the tail next time.

Oh, Lexi and Ellie have met already, Beth, and both prefer to be the alpha, if you know what I mean.
