The green stems on our lovely corner rose bush up front have added growth.
Leaves have arrived as we welcome May.
Soon, I hope, red blooms.

We did a little one. I didn’t really get what I wanted but I got some things. There were SO many people out….probably trying to do what we were doing. Get ‘something’ to do at home. š

Yes a big nursery here is open, MBC, but we have avoided the obviously big crowds there.

I was so surprised at the crowd. But, we had our masks. Not even a third of others did, but they all stayed in their lane (so to speak). But it was also after receiving some VERY conflicting reports on the benefits of masks. We chose to wear them, others obviously did not.

I like the idea of the mask inside, MBC, Outside walks, if I can keep the distance, I may go maskless.

Same here. Distance is the key and inside places that isn’t always possible.

you will have lots of roses!
If you have coffee grounds left over from your morning coffee. Spread them around your rose. They love it! Seriously! I do this all the time!
