We’ll take four at the table top for Syracuse Mets opening day

It’s a bright, clear day.

Open house day 2020 was bright, blue (and orange) as Syracuse Mets fans were welcomed to NBT Bank Stadium on Saturday for the first step in preparation for the upcoming Triple A season.

Six weeks to go.

Only one person stood ahead of my dear wife Karen, terrific daughter Elisabeth, sensational significant George Three and I at the box office line as we got ready to buy or tickets for Opening Day.

A new agenda.

We gave a good look at the new setup and prices before making our purchase plan.

Opening day smiles.

We went for table-top swivel seats for four. It’s a brand new feature right behind home plate. I got the feeling from the seller that we were the very first table-top buyers. Yowser.

Where we’ll be.

The actual seats and tables are not yet in place, but we got to see where they will be come 2 p.m. April 17 for the game against the New York Yankees’ top farm team squad, the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre RailRiders.

Let’s Go Mets.

More to come from the Open House on posts next week.

  1. Sounds like the perfect way to kick off the season! I love the picture of everyone smiling. Oliva will be 9 years old on opening day! Can’t believe it. Yay baseball season!
