Before the big rain and wind visited our neighborhood Sunday in a big way, I took a moment to savor our beautiful white flowering tree in the center of our front lawn.
It’s held on to its pretty blooms for two weeks this year.
And, yes, most of them withstood that wicked wind and rain.
Quite beautiful!!

So glad those blooms survived. Did you also get hail? We did, briefly, and I was concerned about my newly planted flowers, but they also survived.

We were slammed by hail as well, CM. It was a doozy of a 15-minute storm.

Having a beautiful flowering tree in the front yard is like coming home and finding a beautifully wrapped gift and a tag with your name on it. Best yet is everyone who passes gets to enjoy too. Thank you Mark, and have a most excellent day.
