With all of the weather forecasts telling me we were in for as much as two feet of snow between 5 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. Sunday, I decided it would be a good time to take stock of how the front and back looked at A Bitty Better in the Liverpool neighborhood of Galeville BEFORE.
I’d say the plow guy has only had to visit with his blade three or four times so far this season. And we paid by the season, not per-trip. OK, I won’t sulk about it.
The back deck only had a few inches on it. And a lot of dog paw tracks from our cherished rescue mutt Ellie B aka Dogamous Pyle.
The side covered alcove had some snow, despite, well, the cover.
Then I got to thinking. And grabbed the shovel.
The back porch got its first total clearing of this season. Wow. The past two, I’d had to shovel that space way more frequently than this.
The front walk and driveway received some of my effort, too.
Then I went to my recliner to await the Syracuse basketball game on the flat screen. And the big storm.
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow, Mark. We have to let it, because we can’t stop it.

both the big game and the big storm are exciting events, but one of those can be dealt with from the recliner and the other, not so much. )
