My work colleagues and I saw for the first time during our Thursday afternoon break walk from the library, a tree around the path at Onondaga Lake Park that I would qualify as truly orange.
Yes, I consider this a late arriving splash.

What a beauty! We still have very hot weather. 😦 so I don’t think we will be seeing any colored leaves for another month at least. I will have to enjoy yours, vicariously. I love the weather in Syracuse. Is it still cold and snow-prone from September to April? It used to be, years back when I was going to school in that area.

We can get snow tomorrow, yes, Beth, but I sure hope we don’t! Enjoy what you have on the west coast, my friend.

The leaves have yet to start changing in Nashville. Although it’s been close to 90 all week. I suspect that will change soon, as the weather will be in the 60s this weekend. Finally fall!
