Our work break walks in Onondaga Lake Park surely allow us to see the progress workers are making with the light displays that will be set up for November’s traditional Lights on the Lake extravaganza.
I liked the way they looked all leaned up against the trees.
It’s hard to believe it’s already time for this. 🙂

Those extra “bubble” lights at the bottom totally make the display. I’ve never seen a seahorse as a Christmas decoration before, but I bet it’ll be awesome when lit up.

The fish section is themed with the lake location, is my guess, CM. We’ll get a good look when it opens!

That is impressive, bro Mark. Do you get to help set them up? The lights are the one thing I really dislike about decorating the place. I know they are necessary but if you remember those old silver “icicles” that we used to either toss by the handful or, under mom’s sharp eyes, drape neatly, one and a time across each branch of the tree. Have a goo day surrounded by all those books!

No, the professionals set up these displays, sis Angie. I stick to the one tree in front of our house. And, yes, I am getting ready to go to my job with all those books at the library, for sure.

A dream job for book worms like me. Or, in my daughters case, working in a book store!
