You never know what’s going to catch my eye as I stroll the blocks around A Bitty Better in the Liverpool neighborhood of Galeville.
Recently I spied a Yard Sale sign at the corner of the closest apartment complex.
Sometimes I walk without Ellie B aka Dogamous Pyle, say, if it’s too hot and I still want some exercise, or if I need to buy an item or two at the nearby convenience store for my dear wife Karen and I and we’ve enjoyed an adult beverage on the weekend …
Anyway.
I climbed the grassy slope.
The way the sellers had spread out their ample supply of clothing caught my eye. I grabbed my iPhone 8 out of my pocket as I schlepped the blue cheese dressing for our upcoming spaghetti dinner and the package of bacon for the next morning’s breakfast in the bag on my other arm.
That’s a lot of clothing to be repurposed. I hope it found happy new wearers.
Looks like a quilt!
