I took the direct route from Point A (the library) to Point B (my drug store) to get my prescriptions on the way home to A Bitty Better in the Liverpool neighborhood of Galeville.
And along came a train to block my way.
This is the second main road on which I had to stop and wait for the choo-choo to chug along.
It came from the north.
It left to the south.
Many, many cars lined up in its wake.
I felt as if I were back in the 20th century, somehow.
Nice.
yes, a flashback of sorts )

I love to watch the trains go by. Especially when they have cars with graffiti on them. There is some amazing graffiti out there.

There is a lot of artful graffiti, I agree, SD.

I don’t care to be stopped at a red light. But being stopped at a train crossing never seems to bother me.

That’s a cool difference, MBC.

I never would have paid attention to that difference if not for this post.

Trains are a way of life still…here in Reading PA. We have to plot our route to avoid them on a regular basis. They just started service on a steam locomotive passenger train to points north (Poconoes)…very popular and nostalgic. 🚂

I’m glad they stay with us, Van. In Europe, I hear, they are huge.
