Keeping track of that old-time feel

I took the direct route from Point A (the library) to Point B (my drug store) to get my prescriptions on the way home to A Bitty Better in the Liverpool neighborhood of Galeville.

And along came a train to block my way.

Train to the right.

This is the second main road on which I had to stop and wait for the choo-choo to chug along.

It came from the north.

Bye-bye, train.

It left to the south.

Many, many cars lined up in its wake.

I felt as if I were back in the 20th century, somehow.

Nice.

  1. Trains are a way of life still…here in Reading PA. We have to plot our route to avoid them on a regular basis. They just started service on a steam locomotive passenger train to points north (Poconoes)…very popular and nostalgic. 🚂
