I made sure I was out on our balcony around 6:30 p.m. I had iPad Pro ready.
Beautiful, the sunset was off to the west.
At our trip to a luau later in our dream vacation week at a resort a bit down the road toward Kona proper, I knew the location right on the location would be great for an encore.
This time it was my iPhone 6s that caught my wonderful daughter Elisabeth basking in the glow.
Then I strayed off the party property to the neighboring wall by myself for a selfie moment.
I went as far west as I could on land to catch the goodbye moment.
Oh, we’ll have more about the luau in another post.
Tomorrow: Catching the sunrise
NOW THAT’S AN HAWAIIN SUNSET!
I LOVE your selfie!!!

Thanks so much, MBC. The sun can even make me look good as a supporting player. 🙂
