The driveway after

It took months between the estimate and arrival of the crew, what with all the rain we’ve had this summer in Central New York and the backlog of the company I hired.

Sunny sealers.

But when Austin and Josh pulled up to A Bitty Better in the Liverpool neighborhood of Galeville in the Armourseal Co. truck, they knew what we wanted and were ready to work.

They carefully trimmed the grass from the edges, applied the black sealer goop and put up the yellow tape. Stay off the finished product two days, Josh advised before they pulled away, two driveways down and five to go on their day’s schedule.

Walk, this way.

I was delighted that our front sidewalk was included in the project.

Ellie B’s landing.

My dear wife Karen was thrilled that the side carport, the covered spot where we grill and Ellie B aka Dogamous Pyle hangs out on the futon, was sealed as part of their work.

Finished product.

And the driveway, done, made us both quite happy.

I have it in my plans to schedule the company again in two or three years, as they say, depending upon how the driveway holds up to our coming winters.
