On one of our after-work walks around A Bitty Better in the Liverpool neighborhood of Galeville, Ellie B aka Dogamous Pyle and I picked a new street this past week.
And this stretch of houses offered my cherished rescue mutt and I some different perspectives on our new neighbors.
Where are the participants?
Ellie B was sad that the kiddies were not out front with this big playset ready for some warm weather. I noticed the boat on the side ready for even more of a warm-up.
Whatever floats your boat.
I must remember that we are just two miles away from the landing at Onondaga Lake Park. Yes, this block sported several boats.
Now that’s a dance floor.
One house went for a big front porch. Party-sized, I told Ellie B. She did a little prance for me. OK, we’all move on.
Take a sit.
This nice house had a smaller porch, but it was still a beauty. They can sit out and admire the big boat in the driveway next door!

I have a big back deck for our porch that we relax on. We have an itty bitty front porch but we are at the end of the cul-de-sac. We don’t see much except for Fedex and UPS always using our cul-de-sac as a turn-around. And YES to boats, any size! Ours is a 14-foot Alaskan Smokercraft.

i love front porches, big or small. love that people can gather there and greet their neighbors, pass the time, and just relax.

I say yes to really big boats, Gatorette. Like, cruise ships. Hard to fit those in the driveway, though. Ha!
