Now that’s a plate worthy of the Dinosaur

Our friends Georgia and Bert had an idea for Easter brunch.

Upstairs at the Dinosaur had a little get-together planned, she informed my dear wife Karen. Two settings were available, noon and 3 p.m. I said I’d rather go early.

Yes. Yes. OK. I’ll take it.

I walked through the buffet line and said yes to the Spanish frittata, ham, prime rib, ribs, collard greens, mac ‘n’ cheese, tomato and cucumber salad, regular salad, sweet potato mashed and cornbread. I think that covered it.

Gospel on Easter.

Oh, yes, Syracuse super gospel group The Bells of Harmony, led by Charles Cannon, performed while we ate.

Take that Doubletree of Carrier Circle. Yeah, we like your Sunday brunch. But this spread …

Let’s say I may still feel full. Well, really, I recovered in time to eat a chef’s salad for dinner around 6:30 p.m.

What did you eat for Easter this year?
