Life imitates art imitates life

Nailed it.

I received the text above from my dear wife Karen.

She thought the dog involved looked an awful lot like Ellie B aka Dogamous Pyle when she perches herself by the kitchen window of A Bitty Better in the Liverpool neighborhood of Galeville when she hears my car pull into the driveway.

I chuckled. Loved it. Agreed.

Hello, Da!

And then I looked really hard at my beloved rescue dog when I pulled into the driveway one day thereafter.

Yup. Nailed it.

  1. Both our dogs can sense of of our cars all the way down the street when one of us is coming home. How do they know it is us and not just a neighbor!? They leap up, run to the front door, run to the back door, run back to the front, etc. and start whining to be let out. Then BAM, one of our cars pulls into the driveway. The photo and art are spot on!

  2. Super cute!
I get offered the belly when I get home, and then Sadie just sorta runs laps.
I was surprised to find her watching me trim shrubs last weekend. She was in the ROCKING CHAIR! Goodness, a dog in a rocking chair. But I looked up, and there she was, about a foot from me, watching me through the window!
