Cobblestone pizza to go, yum

I’ve been talking up the pizza at The Cobblestone lately.

Ever since my dear wife Karen and I decided on a Friday night after work that a trip to the cool-looking bar on the corner in the Village of Liverpool for some pub food was in order, in fact. We selected a plain cheese pizza, an order of medium wings and a burger, and split it all that evening. The pizza was my favorite.

So much so that I began declaring it as equal to the pizza joints around A Bitty Better in the Liverpool neighborhood of Galeville. Maybe even better.

When my pals KP, Tater and Nolan wanted a place to meet a few Saturdays ago to break bread and watch some sports on TV, I suggested The Cobblestone. We split a meat-loaded pizza and barbecue wings. Indeed. They liked my choice.

Last week, my dear wife Karen was on her annual Girls Getaway trip.

To go for me and Ellie B.

The Cobblestone’s pizza is quite excellent in a takeout version for a Friday night dinner. Just saying.

Ellie B aka Dogamous Pyle quite agreed with me for the handouts.

The large plain cheese pie was an excellent choice for two robust meals, in fact.

What place serves your favorite pizza, and why? How many meals would you get out of an eight-slice pie?
